By order of the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs of Greece, on February 16, 2023, the General Secretary of Religious Affairs formally granted the Church of Scientology Greece its license as a House of Worship. This recognition gives the Church of Scientology Greece the status of a known religion throughout the nation.
