The Kenya Government requires new religious organizations to register with the Registrar of Societies, which reports to the Office of the Attorney General. On 19 May 2005, the Church of Scientology Mission of Nairobi was registered as a religious organization by the Registrar of Societies.
“The Asst. DY Registrar of Societies hereby certify that I have this day registered the CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY MISSION OF NAIROBI under section 10 of the Societies Act.”
