The Church of Scientology deals with the spirituality of us as human beings and this is also what our organization or movement is all about. I think we have long forgotten that we are spiritual beings and it is when we remember that, who we really are, that I really believe, and our movement also believes, is when the world becomes a better place.

When we look at the concept of oneness, which is what our movement is all about, we’re saying that we’re all one. That is also part of the African philosophy of Ubuntu which says I am because we are. There’s tremendous potential in there. And we as human beings for some or the other reason—obviously things as the Church of Scientology looks into and that we all look into—who are we as human beings? And when we look at the core concept of oneness, it really boils down to pure potential because it contains everything. We can be and we are anything—everything. We just need to remember that and reclaim that. So definitely, there’s a great future for the Church of Scientology with your programs.

Their programs are so effective and the quality of the programs—the way you put it all together—it’s accessible. You have access to people, you are able to reach people and I think that is going to make a big difference.

When I was a young person, lots of people got to know about Ron Hubbard and Dianetics because the books were all over in the streets. But I really got to know him better when I visited the house in Linksfield in Johannesburg. And it’s almost unreal to think that one person could achieve so much. And not only achieve so much but achieve on such a great level with so many things. So, I am really impressed. And I can see why humanity is learning from him.
